40 FINGERS – a virtuoso journey through the stringed world of the guitar
The global phenomenon returns to Bulgaria with a new program in 2026
After the incredible success of the two concerts in Sofia and Varna in January this year, the global phenomenon 40 FINGERS returns with a new program in Hall 1 of the National Palace of Culture on 22.01.2026.
The masterful interpretations and arrangements of the charming Italians captivated the audience at the sold-out concerts at the beginning of this year. The virtuosos return with a new and even more spectacular program. In the coldest month, the four guitarists promise us warm southern Mediterranean passions!
When music is intertwined with emotion and precision, magic is born. The Italian quartet 40 FINGERS is living proof of the power of this union. In January this year, the audience in Sofia and Varna felt the charisma of the four Italians. Due to the enormous interest, the group returns to Bulgaria in 2026 with a new program.
Formed in 2017 in northern Italy, the quartet brings together four exceptional guitarists – Matteo Brenci, Emanuele Graffiti, Enrico Maria Milanesi and Andrea Vittori. They transform their guitars into an orchestra of sounds that not only sounds, but also tells stories. In just a few years, they have reached the world stages with a large-scale tour in the USA in 2023 and a triumph on the European stages. And their performances on YouTube exceed 100 million views.
Style and repertoire
It is difficult to limit 40 FINGERS to a single genre framework. Their style is an impressive amalgam of classical music, folklore motifs, rock, jazz and even soundtracks from famous films, including their own compositions. The quartet loves to experiment and transform iconic melodies – from the tenderness of Beethoven's "Moonlight Sonata" to the exciting energy of Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" or the cinematic drama of Game of Thrones. Each arrangement is a unique experience, combining virtuosity and a deep sense of musical storytelling.

Their shared passion for cinema and television series has provoked them to make a series of original arrangements of famous musical masterpieces, including their version of two of John Williams' main themes from George Lucas's "Star Wars" saga, as well as "The Last of the Mohicans", as well as variations on some of the main themes from Harry Potter and Disney films.
Musical Influences and Inspiration
40 FINGERS draws inspiration from various musical eras and cultures. However, their love for the guitar unites them in their quest to expand the boundaries of the instrument's capabilities. They emphasize that they work not only on technique, but also on the emotion that music brings. Their work is inspired by legends such as Paco de Lucia, Tommy Emmanuel and Astor Piazzolla, as well as modern geniuses such as Hans Zimmer.
Some of their most acclaimed live performances include collaborations with prominent musicians and interpretations of famous pieces such as Astor Piazzolla's iconic "Libetango" and Pink Floyd's Wish You Were Here. In December, they participated in Matteo Bocelli's Christmas Concert, where they performed Hallelujah together, and they have appeared on stage not only with his famous father Andrea, but also with Andy Summers from Police and many others.
Why see them live?
It’s one thing to listen to their music online, but quite another to witness their energy on stage. 40 FINGERS concerts are a feast for the senses – exceptional technique, synchronicity and magnetic charisma that immerse you in a world where time stands still.
