André Rieu in Greece again

After the first concert was completely sold out, André Rieu announces a second concert on Saturday March 15, 2025 at the OAKA Indoor Basketball Court

After the sold out first date of André Rieu's concert on March 14th in Athens, the exceptional violinist and conductor will present a second concert on Saturday March 15th.

Because the charismatic Dutch violinist André Rieu is undoubtedly a star!

So André Rieu is coming to Athens for two concerts, together with the excellent group of wonderful musicians, performers, dancers and of course many other actors who perfectly support his fantastic performances.

More than 300 actors, magical sets, magnificent costumes give the size of André Rieu's performances, which promise to give the audience an unforgettable musical experience.

Known as the 'King of the Waltz', André Rieu has the ability to combine timeless classics from opera, musicals and operettas, as well as beautiful film scores, popular tunes and of course romantic waltzes, creating a lively party-like atmosphere!

The relationship he creates with the viewers, the interaction between them and the belief that what they see goes beyond stereotypes, finds huge acceptance among young and old.

Together with the 60-member Johann Strauss Orchestra he founded and many international soloists, he tours the world with concerts enjoyed by thousands of spectators.

Known for their humor, lavish costumes, stunning sets and enchanting lights, these musical shows appeal to audiences of all ages. Each of his concerts is a unique spectacle that showcases the magic and impact of his art, which must be experienced to be truly appreciated. In 2024, all his concerts were sold out.

His concert in Athens is part of Rieu's jam-packed 2025 tour, which will take in Europe, including Germany, the UK/Ireland, the Czech Republic, as well as destinations such as Bahrain and Malta.

His latest release, "Love is all Around", is a LIVE recording of his spectacular outdoor concerts from 2023 at Maastricht's historic Vrijthof. Among the highlights of this DVD is the emotional performance of the extraordinary Emma Kok, then 15 years old, who moved the audience with ESC's French song "Voilà", which immediately went viral on the Internet.

Emma Kok has renewed her collaboration with maestro André Rieu for the 2025 European tour and will join us on March 14 and 15, 2025 at OAKA.
