Gregory Porter makes a comeback to the Ancient Theatre

The jazz and soul legend will have his concert on July 24 in Plovdiv

One of the best-selling recording artists in the world and two-time Grammy winner returns to Bulgaria. After his triumphant performance in July 2022 at the sold-out Ancient Theatre, Gregory Porter now chooses this iconic venue again. His concert is on July 24, 2024, in the Ancient Theater, Plovdiv.

The jazz and soul legend, celebrating a decade of worldwide success, includes Bulgaria in his tour. As part of it, Porter will perform some of his biggest hits as well as tracks from his album Still Rising. It's an exquisite selection of musical delights, featuring new tracks, some of Porter's best-loved songs, but also breathtaking covers and duets - such as songs with Paloma Faith, Moby, Jamie Cullum, Jeff Goldblum and many more.

Porter says about this concert, "It's my music so far, but it's not 'Greatest Hits.' They often come at the end of one's career, and I still feel young and confident in mine. I have a lot more to say... The title of the album is an echo of the one before it, All Rise, because I obviously repeat something in my music - this optimism about life and love. It's an unfinished story for me, both musically and personally. And I'm still learning how to do it. It's still growing.”
