Due to the great interest of the audience, the biggest production that ever visited our country, performs an additional nine performances from August 29th.

Due to the huge success of its first guest appearance, completely sold-out performances and unceasing interest from the Bulgarian audience, "The Phantom of the Opera" performs nine additional performances in Hall 1 of the National Palace of Culture before continuing its tour in Europe.

For those who didn't manage to see the musical in April and for all those who can't wait to see it again, BG Sound Stage is organizing 9 additional performances from 29th August to 5th September 2024.

For 45,000 spectators, in 14 sold-out performances in April, the new production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera has become one of the most exciting musical experiences they have had. Some viewers say they have seen the show multiple times and can't wait to see it again. Others are disappointed and regret not being able to purchase tickets in time. This prompted the organizers from BG Sound Stage to do everything possible to bring "The Phantom of the Opera" back to us for an extra, extraordinary season at the end of the summer.

The huge one-ton chandelier, the heavy curtains, the lavish sets recreating the atmosphere of the Paris Opera of the last century, and the revolving stage will once again be guests in Hall 1 of the National Palace of Culture. 230 beautiful costumes and props, loaded in 15 trucks, are returning to Sofia.

In the roles we will once again see actors already known and loved by the Bulgarian audience - Nadim Naaman in the role of The Phantom, Harriet Jones and Georgia Wilkinson as Christine, Dougie Carter - Raoul, Lara Martins as Carlotta, Valeri Kutko in the role of Madame Giry.

A live symphony orchestra conducted by Dr. John Rigby will perform the famous music of Andrew Lloyd Webber, which will reach every audience in the hall thanks to the unique audio equipment of nearly 30 professional speakers, part of the spectacular production. And ballet dancers, choristers, a team of 130 make-up artists, hairdressers, dressers, and technicians will again be guests of Sofia to ensure the perfect performance of the most famous musical.

The story of Gaston Leroux, recreated in Andrew Loud Webber's musical in 1986, has moved audiences around the world, seen by more than 160 million people, in 46 countries and 193 cities, and has not left the stages of London's West End for 38 years. The Phantom of the Opera is considered one of the most successful musicals in entertainment history. He has won more than 70 prestigious theater awards, including seven Tony Awards and four Olivier Awards, including Best Musical.

"The Phantom of the Opera" comes to Sofia by agreement with Really Useful Group and Broadway Entertainment Group. Really Useful Group is owned by Andrew Lloyd Webber, which produces and promotes his music worldwide.
